Site description: The site is steeply sloped with mature planting and trees surrounding. Limited access to the rear garden.
Proposal: The brief was to open views and connect to the vast landscaped bank on both ground floor and first floor levels. The proposal included a rear single storey extension, re-design of existing plan layout and outdoor terrace area. The layout provided an open plan living/kitchen/dining area inclusive of full height glazing and roof light maximising natural light into the existing dark internal spaces. Full height sliding glass and flush floor levels were designed to provide flexible indoor/outdoor areas. RIBA Stages 0-7
